God On The Move!
The church was founded March 2001 , it started in a members basement with a hand full of members on Father's day 2001 they moved to 1233 John St Brookville, In.We became Pastors Nov 12th 2006, In July 2007 the building on John St was sold and we had to move, Trusting God, My wife and I opened our home and from August to Nov 2006 we held services in our home, (We did not lose one single member, in fact, we grew) I feel that this gave our church family a great opportunity to get close to my family and one another. being in tight quarters made us closer and we have kept that closeness as a body even as we continue to grow. God always has a plan.
We were blessed to purchase the Elsie Dryer Nursing home in Nov 2007 on the corner of 3rd and Main in down town Brookville, In the location we are at today,, 273 Main Street Brookville, In 47012
We first had to worship in the dining room area until we were able to tear out walls and make room for our " Worship Zone" ( sanctuary) on Palm Sunday 2008. We went from 1 bathroom to 7 , to sharing classrooms and a fellowship hall to 7 classrooms, children's church, Youth Room, church office and Pastor now has his own office, we also have a large room for Operation Blessing ( free clothes to needy families) a full kitchen and dining room. WE also have a 2 bedroom, minister's quarter with a bath , kitchen and din room.
By sticking together and praying together not complaining but unity, God blessed us from 4000 sq foot to over 20,000 sq feet.
We have wonderful people, who love you for who you are. We have a music minister, youth minister, dance/drama team leader and children's church ministries. There is an atmosphere of Worship and Power that many have said they could feel when they walk on the property rather service is going on or not. Many have spoken of the great peace and love they have felt there.
